Our staff is actively involved in the research and development of pavement evaluation, rehabilitation and design techniques, bituminous mix designs that resist rutting and thermal cracking, automated distress surveys, and development of PMSs. As a result, ERI can offer high quality engineering services that offer sophistication, computational efficiency, and advanced user-friendly interfaces.
To stay in the forefront of new technologies, we strongly believe that pavement research is a must. We have been influential in developing pavement design and maintenance procedures for both flexible and rigid pavements. Research programs conducted by ERI include maintenance and rehabilitation techniques, mechanistic pavement design, pavement damage functions for cost allocation, and evaluation of nondestructive testing devices and their use in flexible overlay design. We use the knowledge gained through our research projects to provide our clients with the latest and best technology.
